Women’s Apparel Brand Achieves 109% Increase in Organic Revenue
Our client, Anatomie — a women’s luxury apparel brand, wanted to increase organic traffic and revenue. Anatomie’s lightweight, wrinkle-free travel clothing is perfect for women who travel for leisure and work. But, after ten years of selling online, their organic sales had stalled. We executed an SEO project that achieved #1 rankings for high value keywords and a 109% increase in organic revenue.
Solution
Fire&Spark™ began the project with keyword research to determine how professional women search for travel clothes. Then, our team fixed technical issues that prevented search engines from properly crawling and indexing the site. We found customer search behavior centers around specific travel needs – e.g. air travel, vacations and business trips. Fire&Spark™ developed a SEO strategy designed to capture customers based on customer-specific travel needs. As a result, we were able to drive traffic for keywords like “women’s lightweight travel jacket” and “what to wear on a European vacation”. Our team optimized existing pages on the website and created new content.
“Fire&Spark™ fixed issues on our site, optimized existing pages, created new content, and increased organic sales by 109%. We went from flat organic growth to #1 rankings for high value keywords.”
– Shawn Boyer, Founder, Anatomie
Results
Within three months of implementing the strategy, our client’s homepage achieved #1 ranking for “designer travel clothes” and “luxury travel clothes” keywords. Organic traffic grew by 264% in Q1 2019 (YoY), which resulted in a 109% increase in organic revenue (YoY). Notably, Fire&Spark™’s content marketing efforts contributed to 167% YoY growth in organic revenue from blogs, in that same period.
